We have lots of cabbage this year – green, red, round, pointed, oriental, savoy, ruffled. They can all be used in the same fashion and are so fresh and flavourful.
And our cabbage is of course grown without the usual toxic chemicals found on conventional cabbage (even “local” conventional). Due to insect problems, cabbage is very diffiuclt to grow organically. We seem to have mastered it though this season. Conventional growers just spray cabbage directly with toxic pesticides! Yikes!
