These are Mustard Greens – very spicy if eaten raw!
They can be eaten raw (but they are HOT) or, if cooked, they lose their spicy nature and mellow as with any cooking green! They are fabulous in a stir-fry or steamed!!
Your whole family will love them….but don’t be scared of them!!
Don’t be afraid of them raw, either, if you like spicy! I absolutely love it when they start to get nice and hot – the more you chew, the more the spice comes out. It’s so fabulous 🙂
Added some to our mixed greens for salads and made the rest into chips (like kale chips) yum 🙂
